A New Beginning for Stonecutters Ridge Community

01 Sep A New Beginning for Stonecutters Ridge Community

The first ever Annual General Meeting of Colebee Community Association was held at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club on 19th April. Guest speakers from Telstra offered support to for the Stonecutters Ridge community. Elections were held for executive positions and committee members. Pictured is the new committee. Thank you and congratulations to all past and new committee members! We look forward to a great year as CCA takes over community engagement form 1st July. The evening also featured refreshments and prizes for 10 lucky mums, sponsored by the Community Program.

After three years of facilitating community engagement the Stonecutters Ridge Community Program came to an end on 30th June. Funded by Medallist, administered by Blacktown City Council and delivered by Connections, the program’s aim is to build a sense of community and belonging for new residents. Colebee Community Association (CCA) will continue the legacy of community development in Stonecutters Ridge and the suburb of Colebee. A huge thank you to all who have contributed to this lovely community, including the support given by Blacktown City Council, Quakers Hill Police, Urban Land & Housing, Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club and Telstra. Thank you to the Community Facilitators, Nicole, Kerrie and Tuula, and all the wonderful resident volunteers.
